Melodies of Praise: Voices from Our Community
My daughter started learning violin with Miss Chai about 4 months ago. She loves her lessons and always looks forward to them. Alongside the violin lesson, we are also using the Stringstastic virtual theory lessons which we do with the books at home. The books have helped my daughter a lot quicker in her musical journey on both her violin playing as well as theory. Miss Chai has made theory learning easy and fun way. It is lovely to see my daughter becoming more confident and inspired to practice more as she excitedly and constantly plays her songs to the family. I highly recommend Miss Chai and her online lessons as it’s specially designed for string players.
My daughter started learning the violin with Lorraine at age 4. She enjoyed learning from Lorraine and finds her lesson fun including the music camps which Lorraine runs during the school holiday. Lorraine is very patient, kind, and knows how to encourage my daughter to work harder and have confidence in her musical abilities. She also gives step by step instructions which has helped my daughter continually improve in her violin and music theory.
My daughter started learning violin at Stringstastic at age of 5. She absolutely loves her lessons there where boring theories and techniques are taught in a fun way. Although enjoying the lessons, my daughter doesn’t like practice. Lorraine gets her to play a variety of songs in addition to graded songs. Among those songs, my daughter always finds her favourite pieces which keep her going and practising. Now she has been playing for 2 years and is close to completion of Trinity Grade 4. I am really glad my daughter met Stringstastic at a young age which I believe has the right formula for young instrument learners and can assist them in going further in the music world.
